Recently there was a conversation on Facebook about the hippie movement and I stated that any movement taken to its extreme meets its shadow. Sexual freedom becomes on-demand sex, mind expansion becomes excessive drug use, etc…
It appears to me that this is what has happened with The Haven. What started as people helping each other in a waiting room has become something else entirely. Equality has become an inability to see inequality, honesty has become scripted platitudes and insults, support has become condescension and leadership has become dictatorship…
This blog is an expression of Haven’s shadow.
